Bank Robber Caught at Stormonth Charged with Felonies

Milwaukee man faces three felony charges.

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man has been charged with three felonies after authorities said he tried to rob a bank in Brown Deer Thursday and then led police in a chase that ended at the soccer field outside

, however, police sayΒ  when he tried to enter the bank, the employees simply locked him out.

Kahin fled while an employee dialed 911 and a chase began. Police pursued him through Glendale along Silver Spring Drive and into Fox Point before he lost control of the car near Stormonth School, 7301 N Longacre Rd., and jumped out, fleeing on foot.

He was then apprehended by multiple officers from area departments, including Fox Point and Glendale.

Kahin has been charged with two counts of robbing a financial institution and one count of attempting to elude an officer.

According to FOX6 News, if Kahin is convicted, he faces up to 68 years in prison and fines.
