UPDATE: Bank Robbers in Halloween Masks Hit Educators Credit Union

Residents near the bank were told by Glendale and Fox Point police to stay inside their homes Thursday until the scene was cleared. Police are still searching for the two suspects in the robbery.

Residents on Mall Road in Glendale, near the Fox Point border, are now able to leave their homes after being told to stay inside by local police following a bank robbery earlier today. 

Educators Credit Union, 7139 N. Port Washington Rd., was robbed around 1:15 p.m. Thursday Glendale Police said. A suspect vehicle was recovered in in the 7200 block of North Mohawk Road, but police have no suspects in custody as of 3:30 p.m.

Residents told Patch that the robbers wore Halloween masks, however, police have yet to confirm this information.

Another resident said earlier today there was a road block at Green Tree Road and Port Washington Road, and both Glendale and Fox Point police officers were all over Mall and Seneca roads. Those roads are now all reopened and  police have left the scene. 

Police say there were two men who fled the scene and are possible suspects in the bank robbery. 

Glendale police are asking anyone who observed any suspicious activity in the 7200 block of North Mohawk Road to call the Glendale Police Department at (414) 228-1753.
