Bring it to Chuck
Many items you may not know what to do with, you can bring to Village Hall for recycling.
Village Hall offers residents the opportunity to recycle many of those difficult to dispose of items. For example, we'll take these things:
- Old cell phones/chargers
- Batteries
- Printer cartridges
- CFL light bulbs
And - don't forget to bring all of your prescription medication to the Bayside Police Department. Whether your prescription drugs are expired, unused or unwanted, Officer Chuck Paige will be sure to make sure the items are properly inventoried and disposed of.
Do not flush your medications down the drain or toilet, as the contaminants can end up back in your drinking water.
Simply stop by Village Hall or the Police Department during normal business hours to dispose of your items.

I live in Fox Point and this article was emailed to me.
It's not clear from the article whether or not FP residents can use this service, or is it just for Bayside residents?
If it's just for Bayside -- does FP have something similar?

I have the same question as Toni, as another Fox Point resident. I know that Fox Point police collect prescription meds, and I had to show ID to drop there. I have a ton of batteries--can I drop them in Bayside?

Toni & Kris,
If you have cell phones and/or ink cartridges, feel free to bring them to the Bayside Village Hall. The batteries and CFLs, however, are for Bayside residents only, as disposal requires a fee. Thanks for your interest.

@Toni and Kris, I'll check with Fox Point on that for you as well. I'm not aware of any collections at this time, but I'll make sure tomorrow and let you know what I find out. Thanks for reading!
