Fox Point Teen To Serve 23 Days in Jail

After parental intervention, this teen is now doing jail time.

Fox Point police received a call from Glendale police at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 31 about a local teen who has had multiple previous run-ins with police.

The 17-year-old was picked up on a warrant for possession of marijuana and theft, a total bond amount of $1,160. He was previously arrested and cited for these offenses in August when his parents handed him over to police after he stole their Visa debit card. He was released, but never showed for his court date.

Glendale officers brought him to the Fox Point station and he was booked. He was unable to pay the $1,160 bond, so he was then taken to the Milwaukee County Jail and will serve 23 days in jail.
