Friday is Deadline for Wisconsin's Do-Not-Call List
Today is the deadline for getting your land-line AND cell phone numbers on the state's Do Not Call list to keep away those pesky telemarketers.
Sick of getting phone calls in the middle of dinner from telemarketers asking you to buy a time-share in Arizona?
Today is the deadline for the latest version of the list. Sign up on the state's No-Call website to be added to the list for two years.
If you miss the deadline, no worries. You can sign up here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Just remember that it may be another three months before the calls stop as the list is only distributed to telemarketers every quarter.
Or you can call 1-866-9NO-CALL (1-866-966-2255) toll-free in Wisconsin.
Charitable donation, political survey and polls are exempt from the list, as well as business phone numbers.

Thank you so much for this info. I hate those calls. Especially now with all those political calls.

No problem, Jean! Glad we could help! If you think of any other useful-info kind of stories, let me know. I'm always trying to help people remember these kind of things.
