$500 in Jewelry Boosted From Boston Store, Cops Say

A 51-year-old Milwaukee man grabbed handfuls of jewelry and stuffed everything into his pockets according to the police report. He's now facing up to $10,000 in fines and nine months in prison.

A 51-year-old Milwaukee man is facing hefty fines and prison time for trying to boost some jewelry from Boston Store.

Kevin Frederick Wallace was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of retail theft. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

Wallace walked into Boston Store at Bayshore Town Center and a store security guard saw him pick several pieces of jewelry, take the tags off and place in his pocket. Wallace then left the store, but was stopped and Glendale police officers were called to the scene.

Wallace is currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail on a $250 signature bond while awaiting trial.
