Students combined literature and art to put on the annual Maple Dale puppet show Friday for their fellow students in Mary Moliere's classroom.

Each student read a biography or autobiography about anyone they chose, from sports heros like Kobe Bryant and Babe Ruth to pop stars like Kelly Clarkson and Michael Jackson. They completed various assignments based on their readings and then hand-made puppets in art class to resemble the person they chose.

Those puppets are great. It makes me think of the puppets from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.
