Fox Point police are investigating two men suspected of writing bad checks for more than $4,500 worth of carpet from a local business.
According to the police report, store employees at Kern’s Carpet, 8643 N. Port Washington Rd., told police a man and woman came into the store and purchased about $1,700 worth of carpeting.
Over the next week, the two came in three more times to purchase carpeting.
