Santa Stops at Bayshore for Holiday Photos

Santa Claus is at Bayshore Mall through Dec. 24. Families can choose from a number of photo packages.

Santa Claus is at Bayshore Mall in Glendale and, for a price, parents can take the kiddies to get a photo with the jolly man in red. He's set up shop in the Grand Hall near the food court.

There are five photo packages to chose from:

Rudolph -$32.99

  • (3) 5x7 Portraits
  • (3) 4 x 6 Portraits
  • (4) 3 ½ x 5 Portraits
  • (12) Wallets
  • Includes Digital download online
  • Plus $20 online credit

Blitzen -$24.99

  • (1)5 x7 portrait
  • Includes Digital download online
  • Plus $10 online credit

Comet -$19.99

  • (1)5 x 7 portrait
  • (1) 4 x 6 portrait
  • (2) 3 ½ x 5 portraits
  • (4) Wallets
  • Plus online credit $10

Dasher - $14.99

  • (1)5 X  7 portraits
  • (1) 3 ½ x 5 portraits
  • Plus $5 online credit

Santa’s Special – Pick any (4) - $31.99

  • (1) 5 x 7 portrait
  • (2) 4 x 6 portraits
  • (2) 3 ½ x 5 portraits
  • (8) wallets
  • Plus $10 online credit

Not everything has a price. For free, kids can get smiles, hugs, wish taking, hand holding and a surprise gift.

Parents can take a camera, but cannot use it within the confines of the Santa set.

  • Do you think taking pictures with Santa Claus has gotten too expensive?

Bayshore is terrible with this. They no longer let you use your own camera, so you are stuck with their crappy photos and high prices. I don't mind giving them a few bucks for the service, but it's way out of line now.

Kinda surprised that Bayshore, which does so many good things, in terms of free entertainment .. fails so miserably here, with Santa of all people.

Santa shows up at plenty of other places that aren't in it to gouge the wallet.

Thanks for the comment, Chris. How would you suggest they improve the service? I checked prices at other malls, like Southridge, and they seem pretty similar. Any other ideas to improve this?
