The St. Eugene Panthers beat Brookfield Academy 39-33, St. Charles of Burlington 39-35 and Lumen Christi 28-25.

This photo was submitted by Lynne Wolfe of St. Eugene School in Fox Point.

The eighth-grade boys basketball team at St. Eugene School received an invitation to the Padre Serra tournament. This tournament has been a tradition with the archdiocese for 40 years, according to Wolfe.

The Panthers entered the tournament after winning a game against Brookfield Academy 39-33. They went on to create a major upset when they beat a No. 1 seed,  St. Charles of Burlington 39-35, she said. In their next game, they beat Lumen Christi in overtime 28-25.

Editor's Note: Do you have a picture showcasing you or your family (pets included)? We want to paint a picture of what it's like to be a Bayside or Fox Point resident. If you have a picture you'd like us to use in our Village Scrapbook, email editor Sarah Worthman at: sarah.worthman@patch.com.
