VIDEO: Rope Warrior Visits Maple Dale to Kick Off Jump Rope for Heart
Rope Warrior David Fisher showed the kids extreme jump rope tricks.
Students at Indian Hill School and Maple Dale Middle School had the chance to jump rope alongside a world-record holding rope jumper, David Fisher, Friday.
The Parent Teacher Organization sponsored his visit, to motivate students to participate in Jump Rope for Heart events in February, the national Heart Month.
Known as the Rope Warrior, Fisher demonstrated extreme rope tricks, such as jumping rope while sitting on the ground, and circling several students at a time with a rope.
The schools have participated in Jump Rope for Heart, a project of the American Heart Association, for more than 30 years.

My son, who is in 2nd grade, LOVED him. After doing the jump rope clinic with the Rope Warrior, my son now knows how to jump rope. But even better is that he knows that jumping rope is cool for boys to do too!
