Walker Announces 250 New Jobs Coming to Bayside

Information technology company will set up shop in Trisept Solutions building.

Gov. Scott Walker announced in a press release today that 250 new, full-time jobs will make their way to Bayside.

Blue Star Infotech America Inc. and Trisept Solutions, both information technology companies, have partnered to bring Blue7 Solutions, LLC to Bayside. The new company will set up shop in the Trisept Solutions building, 777 W. Glencoe Pl.

"We are very excited about this announcement, not only for the number of jobs, but also the quality and nature of the jobs coming to Bayside," Village Manager Andy Pederson said. "We are also very enthusiastic for the opportunity this creates for Trisept’s parent company La Macchia Enterprises, who has been a very valued corporate citizen in Bayside for over 30 years."

The new business will offer information technology services and solutions for multiple industries such as travel and hospitality, technology, financial services, manufacturing and health care.

“I’m pleased that the state could partner with Blue Star Infotech and Trisept Solutions to help grow jobs in Wisconsin," Walker said. "They will hire hundreds of new employees for good-paying Milwaukee-based IT jobs. This is great news for Wisconsin families and we’re excited to make this announcement.”

Blue7 was looking to many different states before choosing Wisconsin to set up shop, however, the company will be eligible for up to $3 million in tax credits from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

"By setting up our North America Delivery Center in the State of Wisconsin, we can harness the local talent to meet the growing demands of our customers and provide innovative solutions," Sunil Bhatia, CEO and MD of Blue Star Infotech, Ltd. said.

The new company will open its doors Jan. 1 according to a report from Fox 6 and each new full-time employee will make an average, annual salary of $60,000.

"This joint venture provides numerous auxiliary impacts that will benefit Bayside for years to come," Pederson said. "This partnership between Blue Star InfoTech and Trisept Solution will create tremendous synergy and opportunity for Bayside, the greater Milwaukee area, and the State of Wisconsin."

Nice. But it's not working Wisconsin. We lost more jobs than any other state, while Illinois made pretty big gains.

Nice. Since June, 2012, it is working, Wisconsin. Our state lost big with the capitol protests, more than any other state. But now that prevailing proof of our overall sanity has appeared on the horizon, news like this is becoming more commonplace. Thankfully, what Wisconsin needs least is on the decline, and what it needs most is on the rise. Good employers can't help noticing these prime features of a great state in retreat from the brink of insolvency.
