Nicolet Budget and Finance Committee Meeting
The Nicolet High School Budget and Finance Committee will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday at 5 p.m. in room F106.
The committee is slated to discuss an actuarial study on post-employment benefits, the results of a teacher meeting on post-employment benefits, the district's fiscal forecast and changes to the open enrollment law.
Mitzvah Corps Purim Event at The Shul
Volunteers will join the community wide Purim basket (mishloach manot) packing on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Baskets will be delivered to home-bound participants' homes on Purim.
The Mitzvah Corps carries out hands-on “Mitzvah Missions” by assisting seniors and the home-bound in our community. Children learn about selfless giving while our senior members impart a lifetime of learning and wisdom to their young friends.
Tween Yoga at YogaOne
This 60 minute co-ed class will be taught in a lighthearted environment. Students will be encouraged to move with a greater sense of awareness and heightened focus. Empowering pre-teens with self-confidence as well as the tools necessary in coping with stress, this yoga practice will enhance physical performance needed in all sports, dance, or martial arts.
The five-week course is $50 and for ages 8-11 on Thursdays.
