Friday was a super exciting day at Indian Hill Elementary. One of the highlights for the kids was when the Green & Gold Packer Tailgate Touring Bus pulled up in front of the school. The kids and teachers knew that they were going to have special guests visiting the school, but had no idea it would be the Green Bay Packers.
If you felt a little tremor at 11 am on Friday, it was probably from the squeals and screams of excitement when the kids saw the Packers walk into the lunch room.
There were past and present Packer players there including #87 Jordy Nelson, #2 Mason Crosby, #26 Charlie Peprah and #33 William Henderson. The Packers jumped right into helping out in the cafeteria by serving the kids lunch and helping them open up their milk cartons.
After lunch they were out on the playground for recess. They played soccer, climbed to the top of the climbing structures (who knew those things could actually hold a 300 lb man?), slid down the twisty slides and had kids pushing them on the swings.
The kids and teachers were thrilled with their brush with Wisconsin Royalty!
Just another great day at the Maple Dale-Indian Hill School District!!

This is FABULOUS. The Maple Dale-Indian Hill school district is such a great place filled with so much positive energy, and this is like the icing on the cake for our kids and staff. A HUGE thanks to the Packers from the parents of Indian Hill kids!! My daughter was SO excited to show her Packers-loving grandpa her autographs!!!
