Hello Everyone! My name is Tom Noble and I am running in the upcoming April 2 election for Bayside Village Board.
I recently learned that we have certain outstanding property tax bills of over $375,000 in our Village. I was quite disturbed to learn that when these bills are unpaid, we are reimbursed by the Milwaukee County, which may sound good but in the end, WE are all covering this expense, which I think is the wrong approach.
The village needs to be more active in collecting these payments now or take immediate legal action now and not simply rely on the county to cover this. Please let me know your thoughts so we can present our opinions to the village in an organized manner.
If anyone would like to discuss any other issues with me I am available at 414-708-7600 or thomasnoble1962@yahoo.com and I would truly like to ask for your support in the upcoming election! Thank you.

Pretty easy to talk down to someone while being anonymous. Sounds like a reasonable question to ask Tom. Think we should ask bewildered to change the handle to chicken or Sally.

Hello again Mr or Ms "Bewildered". What a lively debate! Again I appreciate your comments but they seem a little accusatory I guess I have answered your questions about the tax issue so now I am just pandering to the voters on a favorable issue? My point is we need to be more vigilant in collecting unpaid taxes. Crazy? Right? Also I no disdain for the bicyclist but just the opposite. I am for everyone's safety first and living on Fairy Chasm I see it every day. Yes bycyclist's who ride 4 abreast is a problem especially with 2 way traffic , landscape trucks and pedestrians. We need increased signage and enforcement for single file riders. As far as my involvement in the community , yes I have been many meetings. Have you? I was involved the Pelham St widening fiasco, various zoning issues and have begun a debate on possibly building a Village pool . I am running because I am very passionate about out beloved Village and I want to get involved . I will happy to answer any and all questions on this forum or at my contact info above. Thanks again!

Tom Noble is developing a platform by listening intently to what his neighbors and community members are saying about Bayside. Your voices are truly important to him. He blogs because he wants to engage the public in a conversation to better understand the issues and what is important to us. There is no reason to be disparaging or attacking in your comments. That is the problem with politics in the country today and why we are learning new political terms like Fiscal Cliff and Sequestration. It is a mindset of "us vs. them" – with no intention to collaborate, but rather only self-promote. What ever happened to working together to the benefit of the greater good? Tom, hats off to you for listening to your neighbors and for putting yourself out there to help make improvements to our community. You have my vote.

Local government is for local issues, such as the bike situation, such as the tax-burden. To denigrate a candidate who is trying to improve his community is, as the kids say, a hater!

Of course the Now didn't publish your letter. Newspapers don't print letters-to-the-editor from anonymous internet trolls. That's what forums like this are for, I suppose, if anonymously smearing other people when you don't have a full grasp of the facts is your thing.

Tom Noble:
In November of last year I submitted a complaint to the Fox Point Bayside Patch requesting removal of an inappropriate photo. It was a photo of a person wearing a Halloween costume depicting a child perform a sexual activity in a Penn State Football Coach. It was so completely and thoroughly disgusting and it was taken off the website. That photo was credited to an individual named Tom Noble. Do you know anything about this?

Mr. Noble,
I was hoping for a timely response from you regarding the photo in question. As someone wishing to represent the Village of Bayside I think the community deserves an explanation. We have enough people in our government who are deficient in moral character.
The photo that you posted demonstrates a complete lack of respect for children who have been sexually abused as well as their families and communities. You have shown a complete disdain for our societal values.
