Band Together, featuring Bucky Badger and the University of Wisconsin Marching Band
Nicolet High School, 6701 N Jean Nicolet Rd, Glendale, WI | Get Directions »
$10.00
Bucky Badger and the incomparable University of Wisconsin Marching Band are bringing their famous Fifth Quarter to the North Shore on March 10.
The popular marching band will perform an oompah-powered extravaganza—Band Together—in the Nicolet High School gym, 6701 Jean Nicolet Road, Glendale, to benefit the four North Shore school district foundations of Fox Point-Bayside, Glendale-River Hills, Maple Dale-Indian Hill, and Nicolet High School.
When the event was last held in 2011, the marching band helped raise over $20,000 for the four foundations.
The fundraiser commences with a community tailgate at noon. Other preconcert activities include an instrument “petting zoo” hosted by Brass Bell Music Store, a silent auction, raffles, and performances by local school bands.
The marching band will begin its two-hour performance at 1:30 p.m. During intermission, Bucky Badger will lead a push-up contest.
Tickets to Band Together are $10 and can be purchased at any of the four districts’ schools. Online tickets cost $11 (includes a $1 handling fee), and are available via PayPal on Nicolet’s website here.
