 r reducing challenging behavior in children and youth through the teachi
 ng of critical thinking skillsassociated with flexibility\, frustration 
 tolerance and problem-solving. This relationship based model of care is 
 a constructive alternative to traditional behavioral approaches as it gi
 ves parents\, professionals and the individuals with behavioral and deve
 lopmental differences the tools to work though the issues that lead to c
 hallenging behavior\, solve ongoing real-life social problems\, and lear
 n important thinking and problem solving that can be used inthe future.\
