More About North Shore Library
Serving Bayside, Fox Point, Glendale and River Hills, this library has supported these communities since 1979. The North Shore Library actually began as the Fox Point-Bayside Library in a 5,000-square-foot area leased from Stormonth Elementary School.
In 1986, Cardinal Strich University sold property that is now the Coventry Apartments and the current building off the west end of the campus. That sale included a provision that stated Glendale would receive 20,000-square-feet of that building for common use. That space has become the library.
The North Shore Library lends out fiction, non-fiction, audiobooks, videos, DVDs and CD-ROMS, periodicals, art prints, children's books, children's audiobooks, children’s videos, children's kits and magazines. The library’s website features a calendar of monthly events.
