DESCRIPTION:The  Drum Set Camps will address the stylistic and technical 
 demands of the  drum set player through the musical styles of Jazz\, Afr
 o-Cuban\,  Brazilian\, Funk and Rock. Topics of study include four-way c
 oordination\,  rudimental application to the drum set\, chart reading\, 
 mixed meters\,  soloing\, feel\, time development\, analysis of recordin
 gs/transcription\,  developing practical practice methods\, and more. Ca
 mp participants will  gain invaluable experience performing with members
  of our piano\, bass  and percussion faculty.  Instructors: Dave Bayles
