DESCRIPTION:After a  great morning spent learning and exploring in Piano 
 Camp\, take a break  and eat your bag lunch with your new friends\, foll
 owed by a visit to our  music library. With your mind and body refreshed
 \, seize the opportunity  to take two 30-minute lessons with a Wisconsin
  Conservatory of Music  faculty member\, along with sessions for practic
 ing. Next\, students will  have the opportunity to receive instruction o
 n different types of  keyboard instruments such as the marimba\, xylopho
 ne\, and vibraphone.  Students will develop a more rhythmic sense\, gain
  an insight into the  technique and coordination that is required\, and 
 benefit from the  transfer of skills involved between playing a keyboard
  percussion  instrument and playing the piano. The day concludes with a 
 relaxing yet  informative session on piano composers and the music that 
 they wrote on  two of the afternoons and a performance class on the othe
 r afternoons.  Students will either perform or sit in on a Performance /
  Master Class  with other campers while receiving insights into piano te
 chnique\,  musicianship\, interpretation\, and performance tips in our b
 eautiful  Helen Bader Recital Hall.  Instructors: Barbara Henry - camp c
