Wings Over Waukesha Airshow Flies High With New Aircraft!

The Wings Over Waukesha Airshow returns to the Waukesha County Airport, August 24 - 25. Featuring a completely new lineup of nationally-renowned aerobatic acts, wing walkers, sky divers and a host of contemporary and vintage aircraft from both civilian and military aviation, this family-friendly event offers fun for all ages.

"We're very excited about this year's airshow, which promises to provide all of the amazing excitement of the aerobatic and military aircraft performances of last year, as well as much more activity on the ground to keep everyone entertained throughout the day," said Kurt Stanich, President of Wings Over Waukesha.

"New to the air show this year is the Ford Tri-Motor, an aircraft that takes us back to the 1920's inception of passenger air travel," continues Stanich. The air show gives the general public an opportunity to ride in an airplane or helicopter, including a Ford Tri-Motor and a World War II B-17 bomber. They can learn about flying aircraft and the important role of military aviation through interactive forums and “planetalks," and meet the pilots and get close-up views of their aircraft.
