Do you have extra pots and pans, dishes, glassware or other gently used kitchen items you no longer need? Just bring items to the Fox Point Farmers' Market July 23.
Dennis Johnson of Veterans for Peace will collect items and distribute to formerly homeless veterans who are getting back on their feet. Vendors and customers can also donate fresh produce weekly which Johnson collects for the city's only food pantry just for veterans.
There will also be a collection of blankets and warm clothes for veterans on October 8, so mark your calendars!
