The Village Scrapbook: Lemonade and Peaches
Submissions from residents showcasing a day-in-the-life in Fox Point and Bayside.
Kelly Herda, of Bayside, submitted this picture of her children while they work their own lemonade stand where buyers even get free peaches if they purchase lemonade!
"The peaches are homegrown in my yard and the lemonade is 25 cents a cup," Herda said. "Every summer this tree grows hundreds of peaches and we harvest them in August. We share with our neighbors and donate boxes of them to a small food pantry in the inner city."
