Week Ahead: Holiday Shopping, Board Meeting, Senior Activities and More

Dozens of Shops Setting Up at University School

is celebrating it's 35th year of Holiday Shops: the ultimate shopping experience at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 3. There will be more than 55 specialty shops from around the country, featuring high-end merchandise including jewelry, clothing, household items, gourmet food, toys and more.

Bayside Board of Trustees Meeting

On Nov. 3, the Board of Trustees will have their monthly meeting. There will be a public hearing on the Proposed 2012 Annual Budget and the board has slated to discuss and take action on a resolution approving the 2012 tax levy. The board will also discuss and vote on setting the sewer fees for the village.

"The Nerd" at Nicolet

2011-12 theatre season will open with a production of Larry Shue's THE NERD. This hilarious comedy was originally produced by the Milwaukee Repertory Theater in 1981 and has grown to be a Milwaukee favorite.

Performances will be held Oct. 28, 29, Nov. 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m. Call 414-351-8174 for reservations.

LX Senior Club Activities This Week

The in Fox Point has many daily activities for seniors in the North Shore. On Tuesday, there will be sheepshead at 9 a.m., Thursday is progressive bridge at 9:30 a.m. and duplicate bridge at noon, and Friday there's duplicate bridge at 9 a.m. and cribbage at 1 p.m.
