What's on Tap This Weekend

Here's a roundup of some big events this weekend.

Friday

will host its winter concert at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Performers are first through fourth grade students. This year, Stormonth is trying a different style winter concert, mixing a little bit of everything.  Each grade level will sing a few songs. Principal Dan Westfahl will read a story that the children wrote, and there will also be an orchestra. This event is free.

An "Animal Movie Night" will be held at the . S'mores start at 6 p.m. followed by an animal presentation by Jim Hyatt, where you can touch snakes, turtles, frogs and salamanders. Then, the feature presentation: "Toy Story 3." Coffee, hot chocolate and tea will be provided, but bring a blanket, pillow and snacks.

The cost for member is $4 per child and $6 for adults; for non-members, children are $6 and adults are $8.

Saturday

At the Bayshore Town Center, the Rim Rockers Dunk Team will be performing from noon to 1 p.m. This dunk team is exclusively Milwaukee Bucks players, and they will be handing out free tickets to future games! The team just got back from an NBA Jam Fest in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and set a 2008 Guinness World Record for highest forward flip slam-dunk. This is a free event.

Sunday

The will be holding a family skate at the Polly and Henry Uihlein Ice Arena from noon  to 1:45 p.m. Participants are asked to enter through the West Drive entrance and continue to the back of the drive. There are rental skates available, but a very limited number, so please bring your own skates if you have them.

Skating prices are $5 per person and $15 for a group of up to six people.
