Bethel University Chamber Orchestra Visits Fox Point This Weekend

The orchestra will perform a concert Saturday night and at a Sunday morning church service at North Shore Congregational Church.

The Bethel University Chamber Orchestra will perform in Fox Point this weekend.

The chamber orchestra from St. Paul, Minnesota will play Saturday and Sunday at North Shore Congregational Church, 7330 N. Santa Monica Blvd. Fox Point, WI 53217. The orchestra will play a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at a church service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Bethel University Chamber Orchestra is known for its energetic and artistic performances that have excited audiences throughout the United States and Europe. Under the leadership of Conductor-in-Residence Lynda Bradley-Vacco, D.M.A., the orchestra has grown from a fledgling group of 10 string players just over a decade ago to a full symphony orchestra.

This year’s traveling orchestra comprises 20 string players and features Bethel Professor of Music Herbert L. Johnson, D.M.A., on piano. Student musicians in the orchestra come from numerous academic disciplines throughout the university. 

Events are free and open to the public, although a freewill offering will be taken. No reservations or tickets are needed.
