Patricia Leeson, art teacher at Nicolet, said that Sadie is a great asset to the art department because of her artistic skill, passion, persistence and positive attitude.
"She has expertise in page design and concept development," Leeson said. "Sadie has an ability to capture the natural elements of a subject by selecting viewpoint and lighting, as opposed to relying on digital manipulations. These qualities were paramount to her earning a gold key for her photography portfolio."

Sadie plans to attend the University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana and major in industrial design after high school.
