There's plenty of activity at the Bayside Sendik's as workers get it ready for customers.
A call this week to Sendik's main office in Whitefish Bay was not returned, but a worker inside the Bayside store told a passer-by that the store would open Tuesday.
The "red bag" Sendik's family took over the store more than a year ago and undertook an extensive remodeling of the store at the corner of Brown Deer Road and Port Washington Road.
