Will you be entering the workforce or changing careers soon? Plan to attend “Talent Mismatch – The Gap Widens,” a free presentation on November 28 at 7 p.m. in the Nicolet High School auditorium, 6701 N Jean Nicolet Rd.

Individuals face the challenge of finding meaningful work while businesses face the challenge of finding the right people with the right skills at the right time. ManpowerGroup’s Annual Talent Shortage Survey consistently reveals that a substantial percentage of U.S. employers are struggling to fill critical positions, despite continued high unemployment.

This presentation, sponsored by Nicolet’s Multi-Ethnic Parent Association, will focus on the global forces of change that are transforming the world of work, examine the factors causing the talent shortage, and identify specialized solutions and the skills and abilities sought by employers for those preparing to enter the workforce.
