Fox Point, Bayside Residents Get Free Mulch for Spring
Doing some yard work and need some mulch? If you live in either village, you can avoid a costly trip to a home improvement store and just swing by the DPW for your free mulch.
As trees begin to bud and the white fluffy stuff has finally disappeared, it's time to talk mulch.
In Bayside, residents can pick up free mulch at the waste drop-off site at the north end of off Fairy Chasm Road. Or residents can call ahead (414-351-8811) and for $75, get the mulch delivered directly to their home in five-yard increments.

Last year 146 Fox Point residents took advantage of the free mulch, according to a letter from Director of Public Works Scott Brandmeier, so with that success, the chips will be available again for Fox Point residents beginning April 21 through June 9 on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until noon at the Public Works yard, at .
