Fox Point, Bayside Under Wind Advisory for Most of Tuesday

Gusts of up to 45 mph expected in advisory that lasts until midnight on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory forecasting gusts of up to 45 mph from 6 a.m. until midnight on Tuesday.

The strong winds come from a low pressure system shifting from the Ohio River area to the eastern Great Lakes, according to the weather service. The advisory affects all of Milwaukee County, as well as Ozaukee County.

Wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph will be typical β€” with some gusts hitting 45. The high winds make driving difficult, especially for "high-profile" vehicles, and the National Weather Service recommends drivers take extra precautions while on the road.
