Video: Early Morning Coyote Sighting in Fox Point

After possibly catching something to eat, this critter took a walk down Lake Drive.

Coyotes have been a hot topic in Fox Point and Bayside, especially when .

But since then, Capt. Scott McConnell with Bayside Police has been making house calls and trying unique methods of deterring the critters  - .

In August, and had two special guest speakers attend to help educate residents. PJ Winkelmann of Advanced Wildlife Control, LLC spoke about when it's appropriate to consider removing coyotes and Tom Issac of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources helped teach residents how to properly identify coyotes, as sometimes they are mistaken identified as foxes or other animals.

This YouTube video was shot around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning when this person caught sight of a coyote hiking around near Bradley Road and Lake Drive, in Fox Point.

"This was taken just after I sighted the coyote chase something that looked like an over-weight raccoon or baby bear up a tree," pddoty wrote in the vide's description. "There were two more coyotes that I saw further down the road after shooting this video."
