Two candidates are vying for one seat on the Fox Point-Bayside School Board and to help get a better understanding of both points of view, the PTO is sponsoring a candidate forum, set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at in the cafeteria.

Friends of the North Shore Library Book and Bake Sale

The Friends of the are hosting the annual Spring Book and Bake Sale beginning Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.  The book sale will continue on Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.  You are invited to visit our Community Room to find some great used books and media for both adults and children.

Fish Fry at Cardinal Stritch University

In honor of 's 75th anniversary, they'll be holding the second annual fish fry on Friday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Sister Camille Kliebhan Conference Center in Bonaventure Hall.

There will be:

  • All you can eat cod dinner with fries, coleslaw, rye bread and beverage for $11.95.
  • Carry out available for $9.95.
  • Children’s meal (age 10 and younger): chicken nuggets, french fries and beverage for $6.95.
  • Family fun zone, including games and face painting for kids.
