Week Ahead: Free Media Workshop, Audubon Babies and Wine, Beer and Chocolate Tasting

Patch's Free Media 101 Workshop

If you're puzzled by Facebook, bewildered by Twitter and unaware of the power of Patch, join our free workshop at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the , 5420 N Marlborough Dr.

Patch editors will walk you through the basics of these free media tools and show you how best to use them for your business or non-profit organization.

This is a free event; laptops are useful but not required. Snacks are provided and you'll walk away with a little swag.

Audubon Babies: Exploring Nature with the Very Young

Children are never too young to enjoy the fresh air and the wonders of nature. Come enjoy a hike on the trails and some good fellowship at 10 a.m. Thursday at the We will meet inside and venture out when we are ready. Dress for the weather – we will explore outdoors rain or shine. Cost is $5 and this even is for children six months to two years old.

Wine, Beer and Chocolate Tasting Friday

At 19th annual Wine, Beer and Chocolate Tasting, all attendees will have the opportunity to sample nearly 100 fine wines, decadent chocolates at more than a dozen tasting stations, specialty beer from local breweries along with delicious hors d'oeuvres. Guests can also participate in our exciting silent auction and raffle drawing. (Must be 21 or older to attend)

Advance ticket prices are $50 each or $45 for parties of 10 or more. At the door tickets will be $60.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the special education, therapy and support services we provide to nearly 1,400 children each year.
