Autumn Nights: Music in the Prairie

Dress for the weather, bring a lawn chair and blanket and enjoy musical performances by students amid the beauty of the prairie Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for their new event, .

The event is free to attend and there will be hot dogs, chips and water available for purchase. All proceeds from the food sales benefit the performing and visual art programs at Bayisde Middle School.

Bayside Village Board Meeting Thursday

Bayside will have both the Board of Trustees meeting Thursday night at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the Committe of the Whole meeting.

The board has agendaed a discussion and action on a handful of resolutions, including filing for a recycling and a forestry grant. They will also review the application by Aqua Filters, LLC. to move into 8830 N. Port Washington Rd., as well as the application by the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music to move into Audubon Court.

Nicolet Boys Volleyball vs. Whitefish Bay

The Knights boys volleyball team faces Whitefish bay at Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Falls Colors Canoeing at the

Venture out in a canoe during peak colors with a bunch of nature enthusiasts. Enjoy an autumn paddle along one of Wisconsin’s wonderful wetlands. No canoeing experience is necessary.

If you have too much difficulty keeping up with the group, you may be paired with another person. Transportation, interpretation and canoe equipment provided. Bring your own lunch, snacks and water.

Event is for adults only, and is $62 per person.
