Nicolet 2nd Annual Open House

Nicolet will host their second annual Open House Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There will be demonstrations and displays throughout the building. Performances by our choir, orchestra, band and theater will be scheduled throughout the evening. Meet faculty from all of our curricular areas in the cafeteria. See the array of athletics and student activities that your student can participate in the gym. Fox Point Village Board Meeting

The Fox Point Village Board will meet for their regular meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at .

The board plans to receive an update on the  that was installed six months ago outside Walgreens. They also plan to discuss the following:

• Potentially grant a Conditional Use Permit to Nhi-Le Nails, who will set up shop at 6924 N. Santa Monica Blvd.
• A review of the  that was drafted by the village attorney at the request of the board at the October board meeting.
• A review of the , including a report from the village-hired expert.

Folk Singer David Drake Coming to the LX Club

Folk singer David Drake will be visiting the in Fox Point on Thursday at 1 p.m.

He has been called a "gentle troubadour" and an "elemental folksinger." He is plenty busy as he presents over 200 programs a year. He was named 2002 Folk Artist of the Year. His show, called Pot Luck, will feature songs, poems and stories on many different instruments.
