MILWAUKEE CHILDREN’S CHOIR ANNOUNCES ITS 2013 SINGATHON

Milwaukee –Milwaukee Children’s Choir (MCC) welcomes music lovers everywhere to join them at their fifth annual Valentine inspired Singathon. MCC singers will fill the Bayshore mall and put their talent on display during a free community concert and fundraising event that is bound to make your heart skip a beat.

This year’s Singathon will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Bayshore Town Center Rotunda, located at 5800 North Bayshore Drive in Glendale, Wis. The Singathon is an event that encourages the singers in all choirs to raise funds by earning pledges to help support the MCC educational programming. These pledges will allow MCC to continue its music education throughout the community.

What will you receive for your donation? For $25 the choir will sing a valentine to anyone in the audience of the donor’s choosing.  For $5 the donor will receive a fresh flower complete with a ribbon and card to write a message to a loved one. Donors will be pleased in knowing that the funds raised will go toward supporting a cause that has a positive impact on our community.

“The Singathon is free and makes for a wonderful family outing,” said Paula Bell, Executive Director, who invites you to attend. “Bring the kids, grab a cup of coffee or lunch at one of the many Bayshore restaurants, and listen to the talented children of Milwaukee Children’s Choir as they sing their hearts out!”
