“Creativity is just intelligence having fun.” Albert Einstein
Connect with your creative self – leader, lover, artist, imaginer – and the best selves of others with an all-day retreat ...
Unfettered Genius: Active Awakening of Your Creative Self
The retreat is guided by Ron and Susan Scot Fry. Ron and Susan are the Artistic and Managing Directors of Optimist Theatre, which produces Milwaukee’s Free Shakespeare in the Park. They have helped thousands realize their full creative potential and make meaningful human connections.
Do you want to …
free your imagination
feel good about yourself and your life
renew your sense of purpose
make meaningful human connections
find the natural leader in you
fall in love with your physical self
Studies at Cornell University and the University of Oklahoma show that creativity classes work. Previous participants say Unfettered Genius works. Typical responses include, “This was an amazing experience for me … Thank you so much for such an amazing time”, and “Very energetic and motivating … helped me trust myself.”
A large part of doing creative work is just getting out of our own way. Imagination isn’t summoned on demand; sometimes it has to be tricked into showing up. It’s most likely to come out in a supportive and playful environment.
At your retreat, Unfettered Genius takes your imagination for a spin through techniques including:
Guided Visualization - Free your best self and connect with your own genius through breathing, relaxation, and positive imagining, building natural confidence and connections.
Body Awakening - Natural, effortless movement, puts you in touch with your physical self and connects you with the world around you.
Life Games - Improvisation games that focus your concentration, develop positive responses, invite imaginative connections with others, develop your leadership skills, and make you laugh out loud.
