From Slavery to Freedom: Human Trafficking in Our Own Backyard

Join NCJW Milwaukee to learn about this important human rights issue. We will learn from our expert panel of speakers: Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Rebecca Dallet, Branch 40; Rachel Monaco-Wilcox, J.D.Chair and Assistant Professor, Justice Department Coordinator, LOTUS legal clinic (Legal Options for Trafficked and Underserved Survivors) at Mount Mary University; and Detective Dawn Jones of the Milwaukee Police Department. Panel discussion will be moderated by Today's TMJ 4's Jonah Kaplan. Participants will then have an opportunity to advocate for pertinent legislation at our letter-writing station.
