Maple Dale - Indian Hill Educational Foundation Benefit Bash

Mark your calendar:

The Maple Dale-Indian Hill (MDIH) school district’s 13th
annual Benefit BASH is just around the corner on April 5…and you won’t want to
miss it.  This year’s BASH is
appropriately themed “Caribbean Beach BASH”, hoping to thaw out the bitter
wintery bite we experienced over the past three months and bring in extra funds
for the schools, teachers and students.
The BASH will be held at the Wisconsin Club on Good Hope Road.  The festivities begin at 6:00, and there will
be a silent auction, live auction, raise the paddle, and raffle giveaways.  The evening will characteristically be set by
Caribbean beach food to delight the taste bud palette, drinks, and live music performed by Mr. Myers Band – a 5 piece steel drum band!  Bring all of these things together, coupled
with friends and other parents who share one common vision of having excellent
schools, and what you have is one fantastic evening of fun.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the MDIH Educational Foundation.   The MDIH Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization, 501 (c)(3), whose mission is to acquire funds and other resources to be distributed to the school district.  These funds are designated to enhance and enrich the educational experience of the student and classroom, through the development of educational and recreational programs and projects.  Past funding from the MDIH Educational Foundation has gone to support and enhance curriculum, building necessities, equipment, playground facilities, classroom technology (ie., iPads and digital cameras), teaching tools, as well as providing funding for mini grants, in which teachers request funding for specific classroom needs outside the school budget.

This year’s event will include ebidding, provided by Ready Set Auction, to make the entire auction more accessible.  Guests are asked to bring their smartphones, tablets or iPads to the BASH, and there will even be ebidding butlers available to those who need assistance, or for those who do not have remote capabilities.   Silent and live auction items will include donations varying from very exciting sports memorabilia, to entertainment and dining items, to health and beauty items, to exercise and fitness gifts, awesome student art, coveted teacher donations, and more…even some fun surprises to add to this year’s live auction.  We hope you can join us!
