Volunteers
will be on hand at the Marcus Center starting at 7am on Friday November 1 to
collect clean Socks and Coats. Donors are asked to pull into the circle
driveway in front of the Marcus Center to make their donation. Volunteers will
collect donations so donors need not get out of their vehicles. The MHVI serves
Veterans and their Families so coats for men, women and children will be
accepted.

In
addition to the partnership for the Coat and Sock drive, on Veterans Day,
November 11th the Marcus Center is presenting the performance BEYOND GLORY in
Uihlein Hall. Stephen Lang, award winning playwright, stage and screen star,
brings the stories of eight Medal of Honor recipients in a one-man show that
will reach into your very soul and keep you thoroughly spellbound. A portion of
the price of every ticket will go to benefit MHVI.

“The red, white and blue is not just to look at,
but to feel” said Wisconsin Medal of Honor Winner Gary Wetzel Sp4c., 173d
Assault Helicopter Company. “Stephen Lang gives such a strong performance that
he brings each man to life.  Beyond Glory is not just for active military
and veterans, but for all who value courage, valor and freedom.”
