NSPN Event: Deconstructing the IEP

The North Shore Parent Network in collaboration
with school districts of the North Shore invite you to an evening of information and networking


Who:  Parents, educators and professionals with interest in the special educational needs of
students in the early childhood, elementary, middle and high schools of the North Shore and beyond

What:  Please join the discussion as we step back for an objective look at the IEP and how it is meant to serve children with learning differences.  Panelists will lead our conversation as they examine the parts that make up the document, how each part relates to the others, what considerations best inform collaborations among parents, educators and professionals regarding the IEP.  Cheri
Sylla, CESA #1 WSPEI Parent Coordinator, Monica Whaley, ARCh Advocacy Program Director and Betsy Pichette, Shorewood Special Educator will lead our discussion.
