NSPN Event: Self-Advocacy, Employment and College
The North Shore PEOPLE Network (Name change from North Shore Parent Network), in collaboration with the school districts of the North Shore, invite you to an evening of information and Networking.
Who: Parents, educators and professionals with interest in the special educational needs of
students in the early childhood, elementary, middle and high schools of the North Shore and beyond
What: A vision for the future is critical for all kids, but particularly for those with learning, developmental, intellectual and physical differences. It’s never too early to strategize for the future as an adult. Our esteemed panelists will include Marci Ocker, Disability Coordinator at Mt. Mary College, Angie Quartana, self-advocate and student at Mt. Mary College, Laura Owens, Director of Creative Employment Opportunities and Sofia Walz-Chojnacki, self-advocate and employed citizen.
