Purim Masquerade Ball

Congregation Beth Israel will hold a Purim Masquerade Ball fundraiser on March 12, 2011.

The goal is to raise needed funds for the organization, particularly in the area of education.

There will be a DJ, hypnotist, silent auction, prize for the best costume, cash bar, and desserts.

The scheduling of the masquerade ball coincides with the Jewish holiday of Purim, one of the most joyous holidays on the Jewish calendar commemorating a time when Jewish people living in Persia were saved from extermination.  The holiday is celebrated, in part, by dressing up in costume.

Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased through the synagogue's office or on the synagogue's Web site at cbimilwaukee.org.  Opportunities to support the event are available. The synagogue can be contacted at office@cbimilwaukee.org or 414-352-7310.
