Welcome Back MDIH Teachers & Staff
First day of school excitement filled the Maple Dale cafeteria for the MDIH PTO Welcome Back Breakfast. But it was the teachers excited chatter that filled the room. Kids go back next Tuesday.
The Maple Dale cafeteria was filled with the buzz of first day back to school chatter and laughter on Tuesday morning. But it wasn’t from the kids, they still have 137 hours and 43 minutes left of their summer vacation (not that anyone is counting.) Rather it was the teachers and staff of Maple Dale and Indian Hill. They were gathered for their first day back for teacher in-service and to get their classroom in order. It all started in the cafeteria with a Welcome Back Breakfast sponsored by the MDIH PTO, which included scrambled eggs and sausage, french toast, fresh fruit salad, yogurt and pastries.
With all the support the teachers and staff receive here, it’s no wonder Maple Dale Indian Hill School District has been named “Best Workplace” 2 years in a row by Milwaukee Journal.
