What Do Snowstorms, Popcorn, No Audio and Happy Children Have in Common?

Indian Hill School kids have the best time at Family Movie Night, even though there was something wrong with the sound.

One of Milwaukee’s few snowstorms of the season was the backdrop for first Family Movie Night, which drew in more than 150 people. The Maple Dale-Indian Hill PTO sponsored the free Family Movie Night at the school, which included popcorn and snacks. Even with four sound and equipment checks, something went wrong and the sound was tough to hear - yikes! Luckily, there were a few tech savvy parents who came to the rescue to get the sound going again.

The “trip hero” of the night was Indian Hill Principal, Tim Reymer, who opened up the gym and then lead the kids in a few games of tag. The kids couldn’t have had more fun. By the time the night was over the kids were able to have popcorn and candy, see their friends, hang out in PJ’s, play tag with Mr. Reymer and watch a movie.

A crazy night for sure, but a still a good time even with parts of the movie dialog missing.
