That old Elephant in the Room

I am trying to get my head around the moronic argument by Gun enthusiasts over our right to bear Arms, I grew up hunting and we felt that was our right to bear arms ,you know the kind you would use to hunt Squirrel's ,Rabbits ,Deer ,Ducks and other flying critters ,mostly you get six shots before you need to reload which is good because you not only must aim ,but also because what you shoot at does not end up with like 150 bullets in it thus making it more lead than meat if you can even find it in it's current state of bloody pulp.

   So if we take assault gun sales out of the picture , " Wait hold on there partner I know that old argument that there are trillions of assault rifles out there already so what;s the point ? "  Well perhaps the point is that in a supposed civilized country that prides it's self as being in Gods best-est  favor we could find it in our selves to just Start Somewere.

  SO maybe we could try that ,or at least admit no matter how fun they are to shoot ,that what they are really made for is to lay down death and Armageddon for those that the gun barrel points at,they are called assault rifles for a reason and that is their purpose no matter how we spin it ,it is a bit like people who insist on   making  pets of Lions and Tigers and other fierce creatures, wild animals are never truly like having a domesticated dog or cat they are by nature designed to kill stuff really efficiently, so am I right or am I wrong?  Here is a Websters Definition of the word Assault that I will leave off with.   1 a : a violent physical or verbal attack b : a military attack usually involving direct combat with enemy forces c : a concerted effort (as to reach a goal or defeat an adversary) 2 a : a threat or attempt to inflict offensive physical contact or bodily harm on a person (as by lifting a fist in a threatening manner) that puts the person in immediate danger of or in apprehension of such harm or contact
