Nicolet Athletic Update: Hall of Fame Inductees, Varsity Cheerleaders Make it Big and More
An update on Nicolet athletics, booster club information and athletic awards.
The Nicolet Athletic Hall of Fame committee will be meeting soon to discuss the 2011 Inductee class. Athletes, coaches, teams and adminstrators must be nominated to be eligible for induction. The forms can be found here.
Fall Sports offered at Nicolet include:

- Cheer (Teri Green)
- Football (Brad Kozaczuk)
- Boys Soccer (Brian Weisse)
- Girls Tennis (Tim Koppa)
- Girls Golf (Sue Winkler)
- Boys and Girls Cross Country (Michael McKenna)
- Girls Swimming and Diving (Dwight Davis)
- Boys Volleyball (Brad Kuehl)
- Girls Volleyball (Dann Jacobson)

Varsity Cheerleaders Joslyn Biggs and Iyana Turner were selected to the Universal Cheerleading Association’s All-American Cheerleading team during a try-out at St. Norbert College on Aug. 1. The girls had to demonstrate a high level of skill while performing a dance routine, cheer and jumps. They will be travelling to London with the rest of the All-American Team which will include girls and boys from across the country to participate in the London New Years Day parade on January 1, 2012. The last Nicolet Cheerleader to win this honor is current assistant coach Charnelle Pinson.
The Nicolet Booster Club is seeking advertisement for its Fall Sports program guide. You can take out a one-quarter page ad and send a personal message to your son/daughter wishing them luck on a great sports season. Please contact Nicolet Webmaster Nate Brooks for more information. All ad revenue from the sports programs go directly back to the athletic department’s teams to purchase upgrades and new equipment.
