Nicolet Rec. Dept. Offering Knights Junior Dance Team

Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop technique fundamentals will be taught using proper dance instruction standards and etiquette.

The Knights Junior Dance Team, coached by Kathleen M. Fictum, is continuing it’s momentum and offering its first winter session!  The team is open to all 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students in the greater Nicolet community! The goal of the team is to offer elementary school students the opportunity to learn and perform dance basics in a team setting. Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop technique fundamentals will be taught using proper dance instruction standards and etiquette. In this fun and educational program students will build self confidence, learn life-long leadership skills and experience working together as a family unit! Knight Junior Dancers will perform dance routines at 2-3 Varsity Nicolet Basketball games during the months of January & February, with an opportunity to attend dance competitions in February/March. This is not a program to pass up, enroll now and reserve your child’s spot as a Knights Junior Dancer! *Each dancer is responsible for providing their own tan jazz shoes & skin colored dance tights. Dancers should have them by Jan. 7th.
