Friends of the North Shore Library Book and Bake Sale Kicks Off Next Thursday

The Friends of the North Shore Library are hosting their annual spring Book and Bake Sale starting March 29 at 5 p.m.

The Top 10 Reasons to go to the Friends of the annual spring Book and Bake Sale:

  1. It is a great opportunity to pick up some reading materials including some currently very popular titles at very little cost.

  2. The hunt for that treasured out-of-print book or a favorite book from your childhood is always exciting.

  3. You can provide reading materials for your children’s own libraries to instill that love of reading.

  4. You can assemble a collection of books to take on a vacation that you don’t have to worry about if they get lost or damaged.

  5. Still have a VHS player?  Get some new videos to play on it.

  6. Spring Cleaning! Donating books and media is a great way to make more room on your own bookshelves or to clean out your basement.

  7. Call it book recycling!

  8. Yummy homemade bake goods are an added bonus.
  9. It is a good way to see friends and be an active part of your community.

The sale starts on March 29, and runs from 5 to 8 p.m., continues on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
